1. Use and Collection of Merchant and Site Visitor Information

The only personal or business information collected by Shalmanac.com is submitted voluntarily by site visitors through email or through forms located on the site. Other information collected by us includes site usage statistics and click-through information, which is collected electronically as a result of actions taken by site visitors. Shalmanac.com personnel are fully educated about the policies and practices of protecting voluntarily submitted personal or business information from outside access, and take every measure possible to prevent unauthorized use or disclosure.

Any other personally identifiable information, including names, addresses, telephone numbers and email addresses, received by Shalmanac.com from Site Visitors is exclusively and voluntarily submitted on the part of the visitor via email or forms located on the site. Personally identifiable information provided in such correspondence will be removed from our website at user request if published after submission through one of our forms, and is only used by us when received by email for responding to the respective query, and is otherwise not used by us for marketing promotions, SPAM or any other purpose. Statistics about site usage, searches and click-throughs gathered by Shalmanac.com are collected in an aggregate format only. This information is used to assess traffic to the website, and to report search and click-through information to individual Partner Merchants.

3. Protection of Site Visitor Information

Once received by Shalmanac.com, email submitted voluntarily by Site Visitors are kept absolutely confidential. Access to this information is restricted to Shalmanac.com administrators, and personally identifiable information contained in the email is only used to respond to the respective query. Shalmanac.com does not rent, sell or exchange the email addresses of Site Visitors, or of their friends, associates or relatives, to any third party, including its Partner Merchants, without permission from the Site Visitors. In addition, Shalmanac.com does not use these email addresses to engage in SPAM activities. Aggregate statistics about general site usage is collected anonymously. Site Visitors are not personally tracked in any way through such statistics.

4. Use of Site by Minors

Shalmanac.com does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. Shalmanac.com further does not promote, condone or endorse the dissemination of information, or sale of products and services to minors when prohibited by law; including the dissemination or sale of pornographic materials to minors; and the sale of firearms, tobacco and alcohol to minors.

5. Changes in Terms

We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the Effective Date located at the beginning of this Privacy Policy.
